My dog just got surgery on his neck slipped disc, and now has another! How I can do to cure ?!?!?!?!?
My just got a dog back surgery (which had a herniated disk) and just discovered he has another in the neck! We can afford it, but we will not pay another $ 3,000. Now we have to put it down if the neck will not heal. I feel so bad now because he can not walk because there was a back and now has one in the neck and I've been looking for things online, but no use … I just want you to be well oh and he is only 7 years old Shitzu bichon is very small and our vet said it is very common in large dogs. Ouch. Surgical repair is best for Herniated Discs – you can try medical treatment by steroids to reduce inflammation, and hope to resolve the symptoms, but sometimes simply not enough. If you have not recovered a good amount of features in the legs after a couple of weeks on steroids, there is little we can do surgery below. Good luck.
