How long does it take to heal after back surgery for a herniated disk?
Im getting lower lumbar surgery for a herniated disk and want to know how long I'll be in bed rest. My neurosurgeon said it shouldn't work for 3-4 weeks, but I do not think I'll be able to take off a month. Does it really take so long?
