Exercises for a Herniated Disc in lower back?

So I went to the emergency room Sunday and discovered that I have a disc in my lower back hernaites. Is Chiro said it would. or physical therapy. Well I have no insuranse for that and really can not afford. Is there anyone out there know of exercises at home I can do to potentiate my lower back hurt a dnot? Anything would be helpful. I have a 3 year old to run after every day. Thanks

Mild to moderate cases can often be corrected with education and corrective movements. If your pain is intermittent or at least not always present in the leg, and is not accompanied by weakness or numbness in the leg with which it may well be able to correct this on your own.
