Does anyone know of a good neurologist in the state of Michigan?

I have disk problems degenarative both my upper and lower back. I had problems going years. I have bulging discs and bone spurs in his back. I recently had an MRI and things really have deteriated. I go to a clinic in my hometown. I are making an appointment with the neurologist who is new to the area. My doctor says that is getting feedback on it has been good. I know I'm looking for in surgery and I have fear. Many years ago I saw the neurologist said he would use to replace plastic drive mine. Has anyone else had this done? Were you in any type of equipment and for how long? keep in mind that I have at least seven bad at the top and sides of my back is bad. I wanted to go to Mayo, but we only have PPO insurance and of course in May would not be covered by our plan. If someone else had surgery like this one please tell me how time passed before they were able to work again. As you can see, I have many questions but nobody tells them. Please help. Thanks!
